Work Readiness Programme

Are you ready for the world of work?

EduPower’s Work Readiness Programme bridges the gap between education and the world of work. A structured one, two or three month programme, you will be equipped with real entry level skills and you’ll have the confidence and skills that employers are looking for.

Our Work Readiness Programme is designed to accelerate training for entry level jobs in South Africa’s growing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector. We’ve specialised in this field as there are more than 15 000 contact centre agent jobs in Durban alone – and more than 200 000 people are employed in this sector throughout South Africa.

Vision

To improve the employment prospects of the young, inexperienced, previously disadvantaged South Africans.

Mission

To deliver professionally supported skills training, coaching and mentorship programmes that best prepare learners for the working world.

The Programme

In a mix of classroom and experiential learning, you will be exposed to a range of transferrable skills that people use every day in their jobs. And in our custom-fitted experiential contact centre, you will have the opportunity to try out various roles including quality assurance, customer care, lead generation, surveys and eventually, sales. And you will be able to specialise in what you enjoy.

When you complete our 3-month course, we guarantee you a job!

That’s right, you will be placed in a permanent position in a contact centre in our extensive network of business partners.

The Work Readiness Programme includes certificate courses in:
